In this workshop, Juanta Griffin, Multicultural Coordinator at Oak Park Public Library, will lead us in exploring ways to discuss anti-racism with preschoolers. This workshop seeks to promote anti-racism actions in ways that young children and their caregivers can actively apply to counteract racism in our diverse, inclusive society. We will share anti-racist children’s literature and language to encourage prosocial, emotional development of preschool-aged children.
Workshops are FREE and open to the public, however registration is required. To register, visit www.brownpapertickets.com and enter “Oak Park Preschool Parenting Workshops” in the Find an Event search.
*Registered participants will receive Zoom login info the day before the workshop.
