Parent Workshop: Kindergarten Readiness
Join D97 kindergarten teachers Shannon Saliny and Jorie Grogan as they outline what to expect and how to prepare your child (and yourself) for the world of kindergarten. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
Parent Workshop: The Antiracist Preschooler
In this workshop, Juanta Griffin, Multicultural Coordinator at Oak Park Public Library, will lead us in exploring ways to discuss anti-racism with preschoolers. This workshop seeks to promote anti-racism actions in ways that young children and their caregivers can actively apply to counteract racism in our diverse, inclusive society. We will share anti-racist children’s literature and language to encourage prosocial, emotional development of preschool-aged children.

Parent Workshop: Cooking with Preschoolers
Learn tips, tricks and helpful tools to make cooking with preschoolers a joy. There will also be a recipe demo which you can watch or buy the ingredients in advance and cook along with Mr. Nied.
