NEW THIS YEAR: Nature Preschool from 8:15-11:15 taught by Heidi Mack. This mixed age (3-5 year olds) class will spend most of the day outdoors-in all kinds of weather. Children will become “natural scientists” as they learn about the environment that is all around us by careful observations, watching the change of plants, trees, animals and themselves over time, and learning how to care for our planet and its resources. Children will take walking field trips frequently as well as other planned excursions. Children must be toilet trained to be in this class.
Fees
There is a $100 non-refundable Registration Fee required at the time of registration. Registered families who are drawn in the lottery will receive a confirmation letter in March with a medical form and instructions about payment of a $300 enrollment fee which includes Arts and Science Material fees. Receipt of this payment completes enrollment. The remaining tuition payments are made monthly from September to May.
Tuition Assistance
The Nursery School has a Tuition Assistance Fund, which is available to all families. Applications for assistance may be obtained from the school director and may be requested on the registration form. Decisions regarding assistance are made by the Finance Committee of the Nursery School Board and are based on need and available resources in the fund.
