Katie Vassiliades

Assistant Teacher (Two’s Class)

Katie has been working with young children for many years. She started her career at The Academy of Movement and Music. From there, she worked with patients at the Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital as a Child Life Specialist. Then she landed at First United in 2007 and it became one of her favorite places to be! Katie started working with the 4-5 year olds and then moved to the 2 year olds. She just loves watching children grow and develop. So much happens on the first couple years of life and it is a privilege to be able to experience that with them.

Katie attended Concordia University where she received a Bachelors in Psychology. She then went on to receive her Masters in Early Childhood Education. She lives at home with her husband, two boys (first United alums,) and a big goofy Golden Doodle.
