Young Sprout Summer Camp

First United’s Young Sprout Summer Camp is a fun and stimulating summer day camp experience led by our highly credentialed teaching staff. The camp emphasizes nature study and science discovery. During the day, children will take walks to the parks, play on the playground and will participate in science and art experiences based on a unit topic. Literature, math, music and cooking experiences are also a part of the camp curriculum and a hose and sprinkler are set up on the front yard of the church for water frolic one day each week. Camp is fun!

Teachers may plan local excursions as part of the curriculum if it enhances the topic of study. Parents may be invited to assist with an excursion during their child’s camp attendance.

Kelly green camp t-shirts with the camp logo printed in white are available. Shirts are ordered and prepaid at the time of registration.

Children eligible for camp must be three by June 1, 2017, and toilet-trained. Camp is open to children ages three to seven. Children between kindergarten and second grade are welcome. There are several class groupings in June and July in one-week camp sessions offered, five days per week, 8:45-11:45.
